Laborate

Laborate is a headhunting platform for students and out-of-school job applicants to showcase their soft skills, activities and interests, allowing them to create a compelling candidate profile even with minimal work experience. On the other hand, it allows hiring managers and recruiters to post jobs and manage applications and scout for talent. The platform handles end-to-end job application workflow.

Candidate (student) profile is the main feature of the application as it compiles a variety of soft skill,  personality and other activity information into a visually strong profile that hiring teams can easily and quickly browse and review. It is easy and fun enough to keep students engaged, but also simple and organised to enable employers to manage large lists of data. It runs on multiple devices, supporting quick actions on mobile, and more advanced management through a desktop interface. The application integrates rating calculators, tests and verifications that result in representation by diagrams, color codes, and icons representing scores.

Impact:
Loborate was initially supported by Start it @KBC, and later purchased as an internal tool by HR companies, facilitating their recruiting and hiring workflows.
